Fresh Harvest, LLC is formed by two farms, Drury Family Farm and Turnbull Creek Farm. We are both small family farms located in Bon Aqua, Tn., just outside of
Nashville. Together, we have over ten years of growing experience. We pride ourselves on producing fresh, clean, healthy produce picked at the peak of flavor and nutrition. We also love to grow flowers, and specialize in amazingly beautiful and exuberant bouquets. By joining our farms together and working cooperatively, we are able to offer you a large variety of produce and flowers of consistently high quality.
When you buy directly from Fresh Harvest, you are buying directly from the farmers that grew your food. There is no middleman or hidden costs. Your food is fresher, healthier, and better tasting than anything you can get in a store, and you are supporting local, sustainable agriculture!
 Everything we offer is grown in accordance with the principles of sustainable agriculture which contribute to the soil, improve the environment, and produce healthy and nutritious food. We use cover crops, beneficial insects, succession planting, crop rotations, and organic soil amendments. All of our vegetables and most of our flowers are grown from seed using an Organically Certified, compost based potting mix, and we buy organic, non GMO seed as much as is available. We never use chemical pesticides or fertilizers. We both participate in Certified Naturally Grown, which is an alternative to the USDA’s Organic Certification program. The Certified Naturally Grown label is a national, non-profit, farmer- based organization that supports small farms which distribute locally and directly to consumers. It requires farmers to adhere to the same strict organic agriculture practices and materials list as the USDA Organic Certification, but does not expect the same fees and paperwork which are better suited for larger farms.
You can find us selling our fresh, naturally grown produce and flowers on Saturday mornings at the Franklin Farmer’s Market in Franklin, Tn. and directly to our Nashville area customers through our subscription service.
